Exam adjustments and problems completing assessments

In the event of acute illness or personal circumstances not addressed by another support option, students can now use Student Self Service to submit a Mitigating Circumstances Notice. Students are advised to review the guidance on the required independent evidence. For students with exam adjustments in place, added writing and rest time are now merged with no reduction in overall time, making it easier to manage.

The exam adjustment process is now managed fully in eVision, allowing appeals against exam adjustment decisions to be submitted and processed in one place. This improvement, enabled by Digital Transformation, simplifies the exam adjustment process for both staff and students, whilst boosting data security.
